Summary
I recently engaged with compliance expert Carsten Tams on the Innovation in Compliance podcast to discuss transforming Ethics and Compliance (E&C) training into a memorable experience. Our discussion highlighted the benefits of integrating playfulness into training. We explored why playful approaches, such as game-based learning and multimedia elements, can enhance engagement and learning outcomes. Tams illustrated this with his "Ethics Kit: Find Your Path" game, which uses scenarios from a company’s ethics code to foster experiential and social learning. He emphasized that making training fun and interactive not only improves engagement but also builds a supportive ethical culture within organizations.
